Observer UI & Camera

EcosystemObserverUI provides a lightweight runtime debugging and showcase interface.

Population panel

The panel lists living fish with:

  • Runtime species name
  • Current life state
  • Hunger and energy
  • Adult or juvenile growth status
  • Global capacity, births and deaths

World labels

World labels show species, state, food level and growth. Labels outside the configured distance are hidden unless the fish is selected.

Follow camera

Selecting a fish activates smooth position and rotation tracking. Follow distance and height can be adjusted on EcosystemObserverUI. The overview button restores the initial camera pose.

The UI is intended as a functional demo and runtime observer. It is not required by the ecology simulation and can be disabled or replaced.
