Living Undersea World

Living Undersea World is a configurable Unity ecosystem where fish wander, feed, hunt, flee, school, grow, reproduce and die without authored scene-by-scene behavior.

The package includes a ready-to-run demo, procedural swimming, Animator and custom-controller integration, population limits, obstacle avoidance, underwater atmosphere effects and an observer camera.

Highlights

  • Runtime population spawning from reusable configuration assets.
  • Herbivore, carnivore and omnivore ecology profiles.
  • Unique species identity independent from the shared behavior profile.
  • Growth from larva to adult, hunger, energy, health and reproduction.
  • Predator target selection, contextual prey awareness and boundary-aware escape routes.
  • Lightweight schooling, separation and staggered obstacle detection.
  • Procedural rig animation, Animator events or customer-supplied controllers.
  • Underwater terrain, vegetation, decoration, fog, caustics, light rays, bubbles and floating particles.
  • Runtime observer list, world labels and smooth follow camera.

Unity and render pipeline

The included visual shaders target the Universal Render Pipeline. The demo is maintained with Unity 6.5. Runtime ecology code is separated from the visual controller layer.
