Troubleshooting

Smart Rails Do Not Connect

Check these first:

  • nodes are placed on a 4m grid
  • X and Z positions are multiples of 4
  • connection points are on the grid
  • connection point forward directions face away from the node
  • route transport mode is Rail
  • connection point transport mode is Rail
  • rail prefabs are assigned

Corners Are Offset

Corner placement depends on your rail prefab pivot and exit offset.

Check:

  • straight rail length matches Smart Rail Grid Size
  • small corner settings match the prefab size
  • Small Corner Exit Offset matches the corner pivot
  • left corner prefab is assigned when your asset set uses a separate left-turn mesh

Two Straight Nodes Do Not Need A Visual Loop

If you have two stops in a straight line, leave Loop disabled unless you want a separate return track.

Vehicles on non-loop routes automatically reverse direction at endpoints.

Vehicle Does Not Load Cargo

Check:

  • the source node has cargo in inventory
  • the vehicle has free capacity
  • load mode is not None
  • Cargo To Load contains the cargo, or future stops request that cargo
  • Max Load Amount is higher than the amount already carried
  • Load Amount Per Cargo is not too low

Vehicle Does Not Unload Cargo

Check:

  • target node requests that cargo
  • Unload Cargo Wanted By Node is enabled, or Cargo To Unload contains the cargo
  • unload percent is above 0
  • target node has storage capacity

World UI Appears Too Large

World UI is intended for scene instances. Add it to placed scene objects and adjust scale, offset, and panel size from the component.

Plane Moves On The Ground

Check that:

  • route transport mode is Air
  • airport connection points use transport mode Air
  • the route has an Air Flight Height above 0
  • the vehicle route is assigned to the air route, not a rail or sea route
