Rings¶
Choose a built‑in look or provide your own prefab.
Built‑in Types¶
- Saturn — classic multi‑band.
- Thin — narrow, elegant arc.
- Wide — dramatic wide span.
- Dusty — soft bands, higher noise.
- Broken — interrupted bands for a gappy look.
Tips
- Use Segments ≥ 256 for clean edges.
- Adjust Tint alpha to avoid over‑bright results.
- Tilt X and Rotate Y give natural asymmetry.
CustomFromObject¶
Assign a prefab or scene GameObject. It is instanced under _Ring and oriented with Tilt/Rotate. Use your own materials and shaders freely.
Atmosphere / Fog¶
A thin transparent shell drawn above the ocean. - Set Color (alpha) and Thickness. - Usually Transparent, ZWrite Off, render queue ~3000. - For volumetric feel, add fresnel/depth‑fade in your shader.
